      Pros

      A lot of terrific people work at Philips - very few in any level of management.

      Cons

      Very political and hostile environment. Management is threatened by anyone who has a brain and is not afraid to use it. Too many people in management have no interest, but their own, in moving the company forward. Decisions made are very short-sighted. Typical boys club with a couple of girls thrown in there that need to make a statement for themselves.
