Panda Express reviews

Honestly, I loved my job here for the first few months. The pay is good, the hours are generous and my manager was helpful and flexible with scheduling. However, we recently got a new manager. She is horrible. Not only is she BRAND NEW to panda express (yes, she's my general manager and she has NEVER worked at a panda before) she is also brand new to the United states!!! This makes communication much harder than it should be, and her management style is so unprofessional and terrible. My assistant manager just turned 20, and he's only been with the company for half a year. Does that sound like people you would trust to run a store?

My manager yelled at me for being slow after just one day of working there, everyone spoke a different language in the kitchen, most of my coworkers had heavy accents so it was hard to understand instructions. I became so emotionally and physically drained from working there that I began to look for another job after just a couple weeks of employment at Panda. I even told my manager that I couldn't work Sundays for religious reasons, and he still scheduled me on Sundays, which is probably illegal
