Pros
I worked at Panda Express as a high school student, and had an overall positive experience while there. The co-workers I worked with at the time were all pretty laid-back and friendly - making for a good working environment (although each store has a different culture). Management also tended to be flexible about schedules, and understood the limitations of being a high school student.
Cons
Besides helping customers, there's quite a bit of other menial work involved (especially starting off). Be prepared to sweep, mop, clean the store at closing, clean the restrooms, etc. Dealing with rude customers is also never fun. However, it's not bad if you're not afraid of a little hard work.
