Management consistently seemed to have little idea as to what they were doing nor have a grasp of what divisions and people below them were doing or trying to accomplish. Organisational gridlock at its worst. They are play acting to their superiors who are basically play acting to their superiors. Upper management are political appointees with “management” pedigree and allied with the most current executives . They seemed to rely on consultants rather than real vision and seem to try to mimic BNP Paribas strategies. Senior management had an astonishing amount of turnover.
