Very strong processes, Learning curve is very good, High exposure to almost everything about retail

Cons

Horrible management at top, No clear vision , short term goals, Too many generalists, not even a single expert, Complicated processes (has been made so), Forget about work life balance, Very casual and little analysation before taking decisions, No respect for Hard work, bad politics, very low salary as per industry, Poor appraisal process. Lot of Negatives about the company. Company belongs to a successful German group but is trying to copy a FAILED American model.

Pros

Good Visibility among the top management or at least head of the departments. Store employees are neglected to the core and their opinions are ignored. Good company for level 2 and above.

Cons

Compensation and benefits are really bad. Really bad environment and absolutely no culture in the company. Employee satisfaction is last priority.

Large corporate power backing you against the market forces (competitors and suppliers). Lot of traveling and opportunities to learn from practices of other colleagues. Work ethics and culture in many countries on very high level.

Cons

Too many management layers and positions which often contrast in objectives and targets. Sales-driven management causes stress among employees. Often bureacracy gets in the way
