Pros

I do enjoy the Work/Life balance here. We also get paid on a weekly basis. All employees get time off around the holidays. We work on 9/80 schedule.

Cons

It's seems like the time needed for a promotion takes a lot longer than necessary. The average compensation package seems lower than national average.

Lockheed offers an excellent compensation and benefits package while providing career growth opportunity. As a global competitor with activities in multiple programs, there are many opportunities for cross program growth, training, and development.

Cons

Operations tempo and deadlines can lead to high hour weeks and months along with weekend work. In addition, due to the worldwide commitments, work travel can become a required necessity rather than an occasional opportunity.
