Pros

9/80 Flex schedule - Every other Friday off.

Cons

HR and Recruiters' communication skills and professionalism are abysmal. There's very little to no opportunity for upward advancement. Management is unable to do the one thing they are supposed to - manage. Health benefits and benefits in general are horrific for a company this size. Resumes are thrown to the side by recruiters who don't even understand the job they are hiring for and are not even a part of the interviewing process. The first 5 hours of overtime is considered "free" because "you are a professional and are expected to act as such" which is extremely unethical and most likely illegal. In this state, overtime MUST be paid unless the employer and employee both agree that any hours worked over 40 hours for the week will not receive compensation. No where do employees ever agree to this, Lockheed just doesn't pay for the first 5 hours of overtime.

Pros

Every other Friday off if you are not working the weekends and nights 401k match is ok but the pension is gone Some training if you can get it approved You don’t have to work if you praise management 20% of the people work the rest rely on them to take credit for their work Lots of good people work here most of them on pensions and close to retirement

Cons

If you work hard other will take credit for our work. Diversity can be overly sensitive but fair The Silos can really make teams fight each other in IT and other business functions Long hours with no OT pay equals McDonald wages with your small bonus if u get one Their raises are more like cost of living increases The pay is much less then the industry average by 15-20% less Military rules and way too many managers not enough workers in RMS

Pros

None that apply to this experience.

Cons

Applied online and received an acknowledgement email. Received follow-up email a few days later, requesting additional information. Phone call received the following week, voicemail left asking me to call them back - first name only given by Lockheed Martin employee, along with contact number. I returned the call the same day, to be told that they weren't sure who had contacted me, so they took my number and said they'd find out who I needed to speak to. No response received, so I emailed the in house recruitment team as I was concerned the person who had left the voicemail would think I hadn't returned their call. After much debate over email, the company denied receiving my application at all. Two weeks later, I received an email advising that my application had been unsuccessful. What a shambles!!!!!
