Pros

Job stability, job satisfaction, career growth, ability to work on new technology, flexible schedule, good vacation policy, one of the few companies with a pension plan, good co-workers, the company has a good reputation and generally is impressive to say you work for Lockheed Martin

Cons

salaries are below average in Lockheed Martin's effort to reduce labor rates to the government, Lockheed Martin has been posting record profits lately despite also announcing lower then expected pay raises, despite Lockheed Martin's recent success they have been unable to utilize any profits to help employees with rising health care costs, working for a large corporation often gives the impression that the corporation does not care about the employees, Lockheed Martin's excuse is they are no worse than the average, they tout being just average for benefits and salary as if its attractive to employees rather than trying to be better than the competition like they should be

Pros

Great place to gain experience if you're just starting off. There are lots of locations around the US and even around the world to move around in if you want. Get to work on interesting projects from time to time.

Cons

Lockheed wins some really cool contracts but then manages to handle the execution of them very poorly. There are frequently the "wrong people" making all the important decisions which result in budget problems, wrong equipment being purchased, focus on status reports over actually performing work.

Pros

Lockheed Martin promotes a very diverse and pleasant work environment and stresses inclusion of all peoples as a core aspect of what makes the company what it is. Lockheed Martin stresses honesty and accountability as well. Most divisions of Lockheed have benefits that exceed those of competitors.

Cons

The level of bureaucracy in working for a major Defense contractor is astounding. There are two sets of hoops to jump through to get anything accomplished, Corporate and then Government and the two policies generally don't overlap often causing tons of red tape to get the mission accomplished. In general I didn't feel that the best candidates were promoted to management. Senior managers seemed to pick and choose people to groom and everyone knew that those individuals were the ones that were going to be promoted to management down the line regardless of their level of leadership abilities or technical competence.
