      Pros

      For an engineer, there are many different aspects to support production and optimize various systems. Managers and peers are supportive and encouraging. Ideas for improvements are taken seriously.

      Cons

      Terribly understaffed; this results in consistently working 12+ hours per day. Root causes for problems often go unaddressed causing temporary fixes to equipment or systems in the plant. Certain people are unwilling to share their knowledge with peers.

      Necessary to have a good relationship between JCI and the account you work on.

      Pros

      Large network of people on different accounts in same position. Ability to relocate as company is so large. They practice what they preach in terms of integrity.

      Cons

      When the account relationship is poor it is difficult to understand roles and responsibilities. Defining and agreeing to the SLA when working on new accounts.
