      I had many cooperations on projects with the French guys.

      Our subsidiary's management didn't want take the IT field too seriously, and it wasn't a strategic goal to the company.

      Pros

      The brand name sounds good on a resume but nothing else worths it.

      Cons

      The management is local and controlled by one person. Micro-management style where OT is the norm and if you do not accept that, you are out. Smart people don't stay as there is no strategy behind any operational actions. Initiatives and new ideas are not encouraged and most of the managers tend to do things "because it has always been like that". Sales are king and all other functions are in support. JCD does not have any long term strategies and survive only because it has the monopole in HK. Salary is low in the industry.
