      Pros

      Some benefits, not stressful, autonomy.

      Cons

      Overstaffed company, very hierarchical and political : everybody is VP and talks strategy but few do the actual job. No processes, little structure and in the end nothing moves forward.

      Pros

      Research and development has a relatively flat hierarchy with little to no micromanaging. Management provides enough buffer to allow for long term projects.

      Cons

      Slow-moving on a lot of fronts; lots of contractors and low performers seem to stick around for a long time. Not many successes lately seems to have led to low morale.

      Pros

      Recent changes in the senior management have brought a new international leadership team with lots to offer. Backed by good products and good ethics this is one of those companies with plenty of opportunities to grow its staff and for individuals to make a positive and genuine difference.

      Cons

      Still some remnants of the old guard that slow the new blood down in the pace of change. Really need to structure processes and close the gap between HQ and overseas operations.
