      Ipsen at Milton Park

      Pros

      Ipsen as a global company is growing fast and working to improve all the time. Really great science happening at Milton Park site! If you have a good manager and you are in the right team you will probably do well.

      Cons

      There is variation between the sites about how they are managed and how great it is to work at the. Most sites seem to be pretty good. However, at the Milton Park site the innovation is high, but the fun is very low. It appears that concern about site reputation is more important to the site management than making for a happy workplace. So the site leadership never learns. There is a lack of trust in the largest of teams, openness, criticism, anyone who behaves discordantly with the site leadership’s ‘ways’ is all frowned upon, making the atmosphere controlling and uncomfortable. Development of staff doesn’t always happen in individual teams (depending on who your manager is) and the only way to get on is probably to move on.

Ipsen has been working hard to make our work spaces as collaborative and engaging as possible. It is important to us that your voice be heard especially if you feel you have been left behind. I suggest you consider raising your concerns with your leadership and your HR representative. If you can suggest some simple actions that will help you; then we will gladly consider them and try our best to help you.

      Ipsen is a company that cares about, and supports its employees, tries to attract and retain talent, as well as provide opportunities for development and career progression. Its vision is shared by most employees, and that is because of the great leaders within the company. I would highly recommend Ipsen to anyone who would like to work in a vibrant, agile and patient-centric biopharma company.
