Pros

- The people you work with - direct management of the bank - location of employment available - decent benefits

Cons

- unattainable sales target - there seems to be a void in communication resulting in a miscommunication/lack of understanding between the branch level and senior management - noncompetitive salary - skewed hiring/promotion process - outdated resources

Pros

Great name on your resume, some good exposure to different kinds of clients/transactions.

Cons

Not everybody had poor work/life balance, but for some of us we were there long long hours and we had little support to achieve our tasks. There was also a lot of favoritism and politics. Not always fair in compensation structure

Pros

Working at HSBC Canada is a great title and looks excellent on your resume. As I part time, I was allowed flexible schedule for school and time off.

Cons

As a part time, there are little opportunities for advancement. The salary is low compared to other banks I have heard.
