Pros

You learn how to deal with bureaucratic long processes and how to cope with stress and dealdlines. It’s a good place to start after university, if you want to learn how to work the hard way. It’s a stable job if you get no other opportunity.

Cons

You can try as much as you can, however you won’t receive any appreciation. If you ask for a raise after successfully finalizing projects, you receive nothing but excuses and reasons why you can’t get it, as upper management is the priority for recognition. If you challenge any management ideas or come up with any constructive feedback, your wings get broken and you can consider yourself stuck on that position/wage for the rest of your life there. The personnel fluctuation is huge due to the attitude the management has towards employees, yearly evaluations are completely subjective and only persons who play it polictically obtain bonuses or are oferred better positions within the company. The others actually get the job done. I had colleagues who never wanted to recommend the employer due to the way they were treated by the management. Exit interviews are not being read by HR or any other top management member, as the same problems repeat over and over.

Pros

It's a good company to work for especially if you are at the beginning of your carrier Your colleagues are nice and willing to help You work with tools you can understand - KPIs, Procedures etc You can learn many useful things

Cons

Top Management doesn't take responsibility for their decisions Salaries are rather low If you work in a managerial role, the pressure is quite high and the resources quite low - but this can be also a good thing as it forces you to find out of the box solutions. On the long run though it's tiring and your personal life can suffer from long working hours The company goes through many internal changes and restorations, and this can give the employees a feeling of uncertainty
