      Pros

      Essilor is a company that cares about their employees progressing in the business by additional training, hiring within etc. They value their employees input & create a atmosphere of ownership to optimize their processes and maintain Quality. This company is known for Quality and understands where they stand with their competitor.

      Cons

      The only con I can think of is that they moved their production out to Dallas Texas. The St. Petersburg location loss about 4,000 jobs due to their relocation & outsoursing to location abroad like Mexico, Thailand, Philippines etc.. :-(

      Company is very stable, leading edge in Eyeglass designs

      Cons

      French-owned Multi-national company that is still run like a Mom and Pop in many ways IT department is treated as a red-headed step child to the Business" which is lab operations and Marketing Need to focus a little less on making profits and more on making infrastructure improvements
