Pros

The only thing and I mean only thing I can think of is that the dress code is very, very casual. You can actually wear jeans and tennis shoes every day. That's about it. I honestly cannot think of another pro to this company.

Cons

Managers- My area and the ones I actually have contact with are ridiculous. The managers are not managers. If I wasn't still there I'd have plenty to say to a lot of people but for now I'll have to keep it to myself. Hopefully not for long. They treat associates like they don't exist. Good luck even getting them to even acknowledge you at all unless it's something nasty to say to you. Just look around. Everyone that works there is from an agency. Now they have the right idea, try the company out first. I was sold on what a great company this is and the great job with excellent opportunity and salary in my interview. Not the truth at all. Actually couldn't be further from the truth. It is Tuesday and I can honestly say my manager has not said more than five words to me in a week. I'm talking since last week. This is fine with me because it's less I have to be talked down to. If anyone from HR reads any of these reviews then I say to you to please, please, please check into your management. Do everyone a favor. Maybe pull a couple people from each area and ask a few questions. Please get more involved. You have no idea how bad people are talked to and degraded. What makes it so bad at least from the few managers I've had such a pleasure working for is that they don't know their jobs and that's why they treat you like crap because they can't answer a single question and they hate if you know something that they don't. Sorry, most of this is focused on the managers but there are other things. This is just the biggest thing I see and others I speak to that would never say anything. People need work on Ethics and their morals. Salary- The pay is ok but definitely under what others in the same positions at other companies are being paid starting out and they actually get 90 day reviews not to mention just feedback in general. Just telling someone they're doing a great job goes a long way but that doesn't happen here. Training for the bosses would go such a long way. I only speak for Dublin, OH. I have no idea about other locations or all the areas here for that matter. I know we all get paid for our work but it doesn't mean people should be talked to or treated badly just because they can and can get away with it or just because you're paying us. A little appreciation will work wonders. Associates are not appreciated and believe me it's not a hidden thing. We all know what is going on with everyone else except ourselves. Peggy, Sue and Tom know about me I just don't know about me. It's unprofessional and should not be tolerated. It's whoever is in the click that's who is in the know about everyone. Our bosses should not be talking to our coworkers about us. Suggestions- We have a suggestion box that we are told is anonymous but I doubt it's taken seriously. I know some things that people have said and put in there and nothing. I get everything you suggest will not happen but you would think some things would be brought up and discussed. What about having a focus group? Questionnaires? Something has to work and get upper management’s attention.

Pros

Great benefits and senior leadership has a goal to provide excellent service, competitive pay, and recognition for hard working team players, looking to put their best foot forward every day.

Cons

Can be stressful at times when working in logistics, but this is common in the industry and often more related to fluctuations in economic factors.

Pros

I have enjoyed my time with XPO and appreciate the opportunities the company has provided for both personal and professional growth. The team environment is supportive, and I've had the chance to build strong relationships with coworkers and customers over the years. One of the things I value most is that hard work and dedication are recognized. Every day brings new challenges, which keeps the job interesting and allows me to continue learning. Leadership encourages employees to find solutions and work together to provide excellent customer service. Like any large company, there are busy periods and opportunities for improvement, but overall, XPO offers a solid career path, competitive benefits, and the chance to make a real impact. If you're someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is willing to put in the effort, XPO can be a rewarding place to build a career.

Cons

The transportation industry is constantly changing, so employees need to be adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities. Workloads can be demanding at times, but the teamwork and customer relationships make it rewarding
