Pros

Some really smart, motivated people Fast-moving Opportunity to take on a lot of responsbility because of understaffing and high turnover

Cons

You’re expected to be in the office 11-12 hours a day and “face time” is important (the CEO’s office monitors peoples comings and goings). Peopel are overworked in every department. There is an atmosphere of distrust that comes from the top; it feels like senior management thinks the worst of people and puts them under surveillance as a result. The bonus for corporate employees paid out at 65% of target this year because of bad management. Benefits are very expensive and not competitive. Overall it’s just not worth it given the long hours and bad working conditions. There is also huge turnover. Many top peope (CFO, CSO, COO) have left in the last several months. They’ll promise you a lot to get you to join the company knowng most won’t last long enough to collect incentive awards, etc. Ask a lot of questions before you even think about signing up with XPO’s corporate HQ in Greenwich.

Pros

Great benefits and senior leadership has a goal to provide excellent service, competitive pay, and recognition for hard working team players, looking to put their best foot forward every day.

Cons

Can be stressful at times when working in logistics, but this is common in the industry and often more related to fluctuations in economic factors.

Pros

I have enjoyed my time with XPO and appreciate the opportunities the company has provided for both personal and professional growth. The team environment is supportive, and I've had the chance to build strong relationships with coworkers and customers over the years. One of the things I value most is that hard work and dedication are recognized. Every day brings new challenges, which keeps the job interesting and allows me to continue learning. Leadership encourages employees to find solutions and work together to provide excellent customer service. Like any large company, there are busy periods and opportunities for improvement, but overall, XPO offers a solid career path, competitive benefits, and the chance to make a real impact. If you're someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is willing to put in the effort, XPO can be a rewarding place to build a career.

Cons

The transportation industry is constantly changing, so employees need to be adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities. Workloads can be demanding at times, but the teamwork and customer relationships make it rewarding
