Pros

Pay and benefits were good

Cons

Hired, moved from California FOR THE JOB, was laid off after two weeks and then told that at least I had family in the area to support me....which I didn't. People keep sleeping bags under their desks for the long hours. HQ staff are very unfriendly, one actually laughed after I was told that I was being laid off. Very poor management. Team was unsupportive. I was given a number of significantly large tasks to complete, including a full debrief of the last two years of press coverage. As soon as I completed the project, going through two weeks of data at a time because this is all the system would allow, and after creating a full report with suggestions for improvement and more, I was told there wasn't enough work and that I was being laid off. 2 weeks there and I was working 10+ hour days, how is that "not enough work?" Executives were very rude and if you leave before 7 pm or arrive after 8am people will look at you as though you're lazy.

Pros

Great benefits and senior leadership has a goal to provide excellent service, competitive pay, and recognition for hard working team players, looking to put their best foot forward every day.

Cons

Can be stressful at times when working in logistics, but this is common in the industry and often more related to fluctuations in economic factors.

Pros

I have enjoyed my time with XPO and appreciate the opportunities the company has provided for both personal and professional growth. The team environment is supportive, and I've had the chance to build strong relationships with coworkers and customers over the years. One of the things I value most is that hard work and dedication are recognized. Every day brings new challenges, which keeps the job interesting and allows me to continue learning. Leadership encourages employees to find solutions and work together to provide excellent customer service. Like any large company, there are busy periods and opportunities for improvement, but overall, XPO offers a solid career path, competitive benefits, and the chance to make a real impact. If you're someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is willing to put in the effort, XPO can be a rewarding place to build a career.

Cons

The transportation industry is constantly changing, so employees need to be adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities. Workloads can be demanding at times, but the teamwork and customer relationships make it rewarding
