Pros
Salary and benefits very good overall. Flexible schedule with ability to work remotely. Good vacation time and very understanding surrounding sick leave.
Cons
IT management is horrible. Lots of employees who have worked there for 30+ years with minimal skillset making big decisions for the company. Cost cutting rampant due to mismanagement at senior IT level. Sourcing strategy unrealistic and unsustainable. A lot of "quick win" thinking to increase bonuses without true strategic direction. Reactive behavior drives the IT decision making much of the time due to poor planning.
