Pros
The atmosphere in the store is fun and fast-paced, with background music that helps keep everyone upbeat. If you're a girly-girl, you can't go wrong spending your time literally surrounded by fragrance, makeup, skin and haircare. The store's team approach to selling promotes friendliness amongst associates who are willing to help and support each other. Busy days fly by.
Cons
Even the hardest working, most knowledgeable associate will find it difficult to earn a raise that totals more than a few cents annually. Performance reviews are thorough and include specific expectations for the future growth of each associate, but they are not accompanied by pay increases that make the effort worthwhile.
