      - Large company - Five principles establish a positive company narrative that is largely operationalized -Many associates are quite passionate about what they do -Services and good delivered to the world have a good impact in the world -Company makes a visible effort to advance inclusion and diversity

      Cons

      -Half of the internal advancements I observed around me were not merit-based, but based on connections. -Mars' narrative that you can grow only goes as far as what you can learn for free. The company never invested in my growth and development in a meaningful way. -In my experience, P&O (i.e., Human Resources) was quite opaque, negligent and irresponsible in situations requiring more than pro forma document preparation. When I really needed Human Resources expertise, I had nowhere to turn. I also have not seen anyone in human resource held accountable for the mistakes made and inaction when I needed support.

      Pros

      I’ve been at Mars (Yorkville site) for about three months as a Quality Systems Senior Specialist, and so far it’s been a great experience. Everyone has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The culture feels very supportive—people want to see you succeed and are quick to share knowledge and offer guidance. My manager has been amazing and is truly invested in my growth. She’s helped set clear expectations, encouraged development, and provided the tools and support I need to be successful.

      None so far—still new, but my experience has been very positive.
