Nightmare - Anonymous employee Maison Nicolas Employee Review

Dreadful pay, no flexibility, lying in the contract, not as many tastings as other companies, weekly rota so you can’t plan anything across an entire month (hence the 0 flexibility), bare minimum breaks even for long shifts, potential for the company to move you to a different store without discussing it and treated just like a number. The pay is particularly bad seeing as Nicolas is an absolutely huge franchise. They are also clearly doing everything as cheap as possible as we had next to no light downstairs, no cleaning products for the toilet and nothing was ever fixed.
