Pros
You can get rewarded (SACE Points, Training, Certificate in Hospitality etc.) You will 90% of the time work with people you bond with and have a great time. You make friends and Relations with those you probably would not in school or at home Managers are flexible with the work roster and you can always swap shifts with others. (always ask manager first)
Cons
Working hours can be long (4:30pm-11:00pm or 10:00am-5:00pm) and you only get a break if you work over 5 hours. You can be threatened by customers and they can make your shift go from great to terrible. The pay is average and compared to other places (in Australia) not as much.
