Pros

Initially the role was my stint into tech, and I thought it was a good opportunity to keep learning as they prioritize upskilling with their internal courses. Also, at the time we could still work from home.

Cons

Since it’s such a huge company that is mainly managed by home based staff in India who transfer to the US to train US based employees there’s not only a cultural shift that needs to be assimilated to, but also a communication shift that was very difficult for most of us to adjust to. Communication in general was lacking and delayed across the board from HR department to management. Whenever we had to complete an assessment, there would be issues with the internal portal, and we would need to contact IT support constantly. The worse thing about working here is that we found out that we were responsible for getting on projects instead of being put on a project. Essentially, you signed on only to be “job hunting” again. Please negotiate your salary accordingly before signing because they will low ball as much as they can. I ended up having to pay taxes for another state unnecessarily on top of being paid way under market rate.

Pros

The co workers were nice.

Cons

Low salary Terrible company politics Made fake promises around h1b filing but had to get exceptions and so much follow up and stuff to get it approved. Most managers dont give a s**** about your well being at all and they dont take your side when you are working with clients. If your client is miserable then your life is also miserable. The HR is also useless and incompetent for the most part. You cant even get screens and other equipments for your work. You need to go through ten rounds of some dumb approvals and what not and then even after that its not guaranteed. All the benefits I got were because I had good relations with my manager but this shouldnt be the case. Every employee should be treated equally.
