There is deep inequality; ”Face-fitters" and "average yes men" get promoted leading to mediocre performance. The "yes men" think it's acceptable to mess with people's paid-time-off and social time and suggest "you're not a team player" if you raise a concern about this. If you do raise a concern, it won't be taken seriously.... just your career prospects will magically get worse.
We talk about integration yet buy companies with no interest in actually learning what made them good in the first place (and trying to incorporate it!). There are no meaningful processes, no collaboration. We talk about "barriers to execution" but won't really address fundamental issues and don't embrace nor foster a 'speak up' culture - no matter what we plaster on the walls.
The company runs on the goodwill of a few (and will burn them out until they either don't care or are spent). Employees aren't held to account.
It's a shame. I love our values and what we stand for. We have potential but............ without being translated into something tangible it's just lip-gloss
