Pros
As a corporate company, Express has their stuff together. They have a great business model and a lot of resources to give to their offices. Very experienced team, founders and developers.
Cons
The problem comes with each office being franchised. This means anyone can own it. As myself and colleagues found, Express will let people with no staffing experience whatsoever buy their own office. How can you work for professionals that do not have managment or staffing experience? What happens when these owners are doing things their own way and have no idea of how experienced staffing works? Then there is no internal recourse within that office to get things done correctly. I also heard from a great number of employees working directly for franchise that Staffing consultants are grossly underpaid and all of the profit goes to owners. That was my experience as well.
