Pros

Company ENGIE Laborelec: Large contribution to the energy transition (ENGIE research programs). Combining advanced operational support to the energy industry with anticipative R&D to prepare the future of the energy world. Clever and friendly people. High tech. Surrounded by nature. Diversity of projects and expertise. Good work/life balance. Recognizing the expertise as a career. Excellent salary package, for both tech experts and leaders. Human-size company, easy contact with management, human atmosphere. Part of and backed by a large multinational (ENGIE).

Cons

Company ENGIE Laborelec: Complex organization (in terms of processes), with many different businesses, comparably to its size. The diversity of projects (= advantage) comes in some teams with context switching between projects (= attention point). Very granular time registration

Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
