Engie has a good work life balance, great people, and many challenges which force you to learn.
Cons
The architecture in many systems is old, forcing you to work on old software/tools to keep business running. However, there are plans to refactor and replace old technologies.

Hello,
Thank you for your positive review and for acknowledging the balance, people, and learning opportunities at ENGIE.
We are aware of the challenges with older systems and are working on refactoring and replacing them. We would also like to stress that at ENGIE we are constantly striving to innovate our technologies and software. For example, we are currently in the process of implementing Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to transform our work processes, promote its widespread adoption and continue to guarantee our customers a continuous supply of clean energy.
We value your feedback and look forward to your continued growth with us.
Best regards,
The ENGIE HR Team
The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.
Cons
The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
