Pros

Good colleagues, omnipresent, working on good sites, many different roles and sub contractors, ideas and concepts are likeable if taken for serious by local managers

Cons

Locally - one of the worst employers I worked for, little chance for development of you're not popular with managers by being their snitch or relative, messy finance, miscalculation in wages leading to underpay every month, same for overtime, rude way of communication to employees, active bullying of staff, non responsive to complaints, high staff turnover due bad conditions and treatment, high sickness and absence. Shame

Thank you for sharing your review after more than 3 years with us in Houston. We are pleased to hear that you find the overall total compensation fair compared to industry standards. At ENGIE, transparency and fairness in rewards are essential priorities, and we are glad that our employees know and understand the elements of their compensation through our pay transparency policy. We also take your comments regarding the competitiveness of the bonus payout structure seriously. Your feedback is highly valuable as we regularly analyze our compensation programs to remain competitive within the industry. Sincerely, The ENGIE Team

Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
