Pros

Great people generally trying quite hard to do a good job

Cons

Very compartmentalised as a Company. Company splits into three main divisions, Facilities management, Infrastructure & Projects and Energy Services, which includes their Retail Division. Unfortunately they don't all talk together as well as they should. FM are very focused entirely on cost reduction at the expense of the other divisions. Working in one of the FM partnerships will not expose you to the rest of ENGIE as a whole. Energy Services is a bit confused as generally run by Retail who are essentially shop keepers

At ENGIE, transparency and fairness in rewards are essential priorities, and we are glad that our employees know and understand the elements of their compensation through our pay transparency policy. We also take your comments regarding the competitiveness of the bonus payout structure seriously. Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
