Pros

The staff can be nice

Cons

Every other month payroll messes up wages. You don't get paid your overtime, your sick pay and in some instances staff aren't even getting their agreed salary. Wages are short and then you have to fight tooth and nail to get what is rightfully yours. Nobody is held accountable for the mistakes and you are made to feel like you are in the wrong for even bringing it up. They do not see their staff as people, they treat low level staff like dirt. There is no recognition or reward. Work life balance is poor. Senior management do not understand the needs of working families and those with children are often over looked as 'not being able to cope with long hours' Staff turnaround is high. Facilities managers seem to come and go with a lot of the long term ones starting to jump ship. Upper management also have a high turnaround. The company asks for staff involvement and on paper appear to really value staff opinions - boxes are ticked and nothing changes. Moral is extremely low. Learning and development looks great on paper...this is not put in to practice and staff are prevented from progressing. On paper this company looks amazing - in reality it is like working somewhere which has been written in to a dickins novel.

Pros

Great PTO benefits, very flexible.

Cons

There are certainly favorites among leadership. If you are on management's good side, you may see opportunities that others won't. Most internal promotions are decided before the job even posts, they just have to go through the formalities of posting/interviewing.
