      Pros

      The benefits we had an EMC were amazing. The medical/dental plans that were offered were spectacular compared to what else is out there. The vacation time was also comparable too.

      Cons

      When we were acquired by Dell everything went downhill. There was no communication from the Dell side. We were not included in any decisions or communication. Everything we got was filtered through other people. We were trying to integrate the two systems (I worked in HR) and they would send out the wrong link to employees and we on the EMC HR side would have to deal with all of the question. They would never send out a follow up email stating the correct link. And we were not allowed to send anything out to clarify.

      Pros

      The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

      Cons

      Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
