Pros

- Work/Life balance, most people leave sharp at 17:00 - Flexible working hours, you can come in a little later if you have a doctor's appointment - Adequate training provided, you can request to attend trainings if there is budget available - Proactive colleagues, will organise monthly meetings to share learnings from different product teams

Cons

- Stuck in the innovator's dilemma. Innovation is supported with words and hurrah, but not with resources - Caution is exercised to the point of standstill. Thereby leading to little implementation because of risk. Usability/ease of use of products are often sacrificed by wrapping it in layers of security. - Bureaucratic with many of approval layers, unable to test and fail fast. - Silos within teams, everyone works on their own thing. At times it doesn't feel like a team, people have no clue what others are doing. - Not much strategy, we do what is urgent today

Pros

I have a lot of good things to say about DHL. The company really cares about their talent. Benefits are good. The pay is good.

Cons

Only bad thing is the micromanaging of some supervisors.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience at our Orlando site. We’re glad to read that you valued the salary, the 4x10 shift structure, and especially the relationships with your peers. At the same time, we regret the challenges you described related to senior management behavior, HR involvement, and consistency in people practices. A respectful, professional work environment where policies are applied fairly and leaders act with accountability is fundamental to our culture, and it’s clear there are areas where continued improvement is needed. To clarify, participation in company supported charitable or donation initiatives is strictly voluntary. Employees are not expected or required to contribute, and any perception of pressure is not aligned with our policies or expectations. If these initiatives were experienced differently, we would take that feedback seriously and see it as an opportunity to reflect on how our communications and practices are perceived. While we are sorry to learn that the overall culture did not meet your expectations, we appreciate you clearly outlining your concerns. Feedback like this plays an important role in ongoing reflection and improvement. Thank you for the contributions you made during your time with DHL. We wish you all the best moving forward. Best regards, Your DHL Team
