Everyone seems to be able to advance regardless of their ethnicity. - Great concept of virtual workplace through all IT tech means. - There seems to be politics going on, which seems to be the usual at everywhere. - The higher management seems to know stuff for what they are doing and heading this big ship to. - On the bottom line, Cummins is a great workplace and has good ethics.
Cons
-IT department needs someone who know what they are doing. The network causes problem so now and then. - The company relies on advanced engineering technology and research but people are stuck with mediocre notebooks that cannot handle the work they are doing. - The software chosen by IT is largely at the minimum of what it is used for and many programs barely work or even have expired. Many programs are the free versions that barely work. - Many self developed PC programs are so buggy that they cause interruption to work.
