Pros

If you perform well and has good touch with your lead and managers you could promoted early because they have rule based on rating how you would get promoted . Two consecutive first rating would lead you to be Associate in 30 months from DOJ else you need to complete 42 months for the default one.

Cons

Poor Employee treatment, No Salary balance and transparency and this could be observed throughout the organization. For last 3 years , poor performance and hence your bonus are getting cut, Worst organization for Freshers, compared to Other Service segments poorest payouts to freshers

It was a much needed check in a time of need

Management seemed uneducated. I dnt know about cognizant as a whole but their eligibility department needs help. They focus on the things that do no matter. They were at risk of losing this contract, so now it’s whatever they client says, they do…no push back including making us do disability cases, that we had no previous knowledge of. In the beginning I was getting OT like crazy. Then they stopped it talking about it wasn’t in there budget, and at times when we needed someone to work/stay late. They are not consistent and the other employees there, are looking for other positions, too. Not to mention, myself and another employee were the only ones there for the longest. It’s a mess.
