Pros

Work life balance Compensation is above the average.

Cons

In the past two years, the diversity of our engineering group has become increasingly limited, with the majority of new hires being Indian. Currently, Indian employees make up about 80-90% of our engineering group, and it often feels as if we're working in Mumbai rather than in our U.S. company's headquarters in Chesterbrook, PA. To make matters worse, the company has expanded its offshore site in India, resulting in two rounds of layoffs in the engineering group last year. Shockingly, of the 26 teams in the engineering department, 20 team managers are Indian. While we value the contributions of our Indian colleagues, as a U.S. company, we need to promote diversity and inclusion by hiring a more diverse set of employees. We hope that our new CEO will take action to address this issue and ensure that our company fosters a healthy and diverse work environment.

Pros

The primary solution is strong with a loyal client base. Comp packages are generous and achievable in the right territory.

Cons

Sales leadership is really weak. Many larger deals are compliance related and the net new Enterprise clients are few. So growth is not what they claim it to be. Boomi has made a big investment in AI and within the platform there is a strong solution to aid in development, but enterprise wide adoption of AI is going to the big players like Microsoft, Google, AWS. There are very few promotions from within, the tendency is to hire people from outside versus developing .
