Pros
AT&T used to be a great place to work- you shared in the knowledge that your job was to help people connect across all demographics and stratispheres, and boy were we proud of Firstnet- helping first responders. the company perks and salaries were always in line with expectations, and WOW was it great to work in a place where they made you feel valued and smart. Always there were incentives for growth and awesome people to mentor you, and help you become exactly what you wanted to be.
Cons
Now the problem with AT&T is that all of that is gone. The strict consolidation of the employee base to unheard of low numbers based in a few hubs, whole getting rid of some of the most valuable and brilliant minds in the industry, just because they can't move to one of the hubs has created an unmotivated unhappy workforce. People we have worked with forever are leaving through no fault of their own and the companies "inspirational" messages seem tone deaf to those who are staying and losing their co workers. AT&T needs to either mitigate the disaterous losses, or introduce a culture of understanding. the losses are huge but it is not being recognized.
