In my experience, this is not a business that cares about its people, or their job satisfaction/competitive and attractive salaries/incentives. As a result, many people are leaving, remaining staff are over-stretched/ stressed/ under-resourced and there aren't managers who can spend quality time with their people supporting them, developing them.
