Depending on one's background, position, function, direct boss and department, opinions on Alstom are dispersed. This is especially true for any global organisation where company policies adapt to the local culture and regulations. Despite that, assessments for Alstom overall are often negative than positive. To list Pros, 1. The location of being in Switzerland, itself is a great advantage. Generally, if you are looking for a comfortable and easy life style, this company is for you. But remember, when employees are taking it easy while there is no clear direction from management, the company is not sustainable in a long term. 2. Generally flexible work hours. 3. Good culture of work-life balance in most dept.
