Pros
Some great possibilities, spent most of my time working on special projects some of which we years if not decades in length. Great interaction possibilities with the outside companies in media.
Cons
Perhaps too nepotistic, friends would get friends put into positions they weren't qualified for, and it showed. Butting process was abysmal, constant rejustification of projects which were often only funded for the first year, leaving 100s of thousands of dollars spent without completion.
