Pros

Offers a competitive pay, benefits are okay. Great leaders at the top levels (General Managers, Human Resources, etc.) and a company that you can be proud to work with. Eaton University is a good place to learn new abilities. Solid philosophies of safety and ethics, E-Star system has a lot of potential. I am very proud to be part of Eaton.

Cons

Not good at paying for the risks you face at work. Does little to recognize your extra efforts, should use the E-Star system more often. Very political(As in political favors and favoritism) at the lower levels of leadership(Managers, supervisors and coordinators).

Pros

Safe Heaven for Underperformers ( Lot of Sand Bagging in Goals) provided you along good with your manager. Moderately competitive Remuneration to Market . If you are afraid of taking onus of your decisions , best place to work as all decisions are either top driven or are made over collectively.

Cons

Leadership here is busy in promoting himself/herself , so do not bother them with your issues If you are a domain expert , chances of your decision getting implemented are as strong as others in your team who do not know much because "calibration" is the DNA of Eaton's Decision Making Undue Focus on Employee Satisfaction Index and Managerial Effectiveness , hence very tough life for Manager of People. You can not afford to rate your subordinate for underperformance as Manager of Managers shall make the buck stop at you as his numbers of ESI & ME need to be correct. Skip Levels for MOP's are only for the record , actually they are mot meant for you. Never believe the Ombudsman Process , they are there only to facilitate your Leaders' Motives
