      Hydraulic industry down, so is career opportunities

      Pros

      Benefits similar to large corporations (medical, dental, 401k). Company uses Eaton Business System to drive results and systematic approach. Financially driven company.

      Cons

      Very little opportunities for mid-level managers and no incentive program, only salary below other industrial equivalents (Honeywell, Parker). Focus on short-term results with sacrificing long-term initiatives.

      Pros

      Real international opportunities, fairly diversified businesses and WW presence. Some clear pocket of talents within company.

      Cons

      Eaton chose to maintain dividend at target level despite posting a loss in Q1/Q2 2009 and at the same time terminated 13'000 employees... This is not sharing the pain. Tax optimization is not a long-term business strategy.
