Good company to start at!

Pros

Excellent coworkers, very friendly space to work in. Have had at least 2 managers whom I consider mentors and can see myself turning back to even after I leave the company. Leadership has been insisting on becoming more nimble and able to adapt faster to customer and industry trends.

Cons

Negotiation of pay and other compensation is relatively inflexible, and good talent leaves because of lack of adequate compensation. There can be excessive red tape due to the size of the company, as well as a fear of changing and trying out new things by mid level management.

Pros

Global company with opportunities for expatriation.

Cons

Little opportunity for advancement in the company unless you're part of the French system (French, grande ecole, ...). Very political, promotions are based on whom you know rather than what you have achieved.
