Pros

Fine for apprentices or those in the nuclear industry. Good terms and conditions

Cons

Bad if you are in IT as this was all outsourced and there are constant office location changes and an obsession with saving money. Generally run by jobsworths so if you want to be a robot...Annual appraisal pointless and unnecessarily time consuming.

Pros

Great benefits, including defined benefit pension You'll only ever be asked to work your hours

Cons

If you're motivated, this isn't the place to you The business is constantly restructuring, and the the terms are so good, that the organisation is full of people who are coasting. Great place to work for a few years, but you won't learn much.
