Pros

I really enjoyed making food, and just smacking out pizzas, bread twists, wings, etc like nothing. I was fast, made all the food with love and care. I also did other duties like putting boxes together, labeling them when orders came in, restocking all the food items, so on and so forth. I honestly was really proud of myself and even considered trying to go for a management position because I was laser focused on getting things done, that my managers at the time could not.

Cons

Downside of working at dominoes are certain managers that are lazy, don't train, they use power over respect, don't pay attention/aren't mindful of what's happening around them. There were certain moments where I had to step up and catch pizzas from the oven because they would let them fall onto the floor due to them not being able to multi-task. Like, I get being slammed with orders, but it's always best to just work together and make sure the orders get to the customers.

Pros

Pros: Its fun to stretch and make pizzas, it can be a fun atmosphere and you will probably make your own food creation at one point. You also get Half off the whole menu with your employee discount.

Cons

Cons: Getting enough people on a shift and then getting the right about of experienced Vs. New hires on a shift so that you don't sink is difficult. You don't always leave at the time you are scheduled to be off. If there is a rush of orders you will have to stay. You also have to do a chore of some sort before you can leave for the day. You will also leave each day feeling like you're covered in grease and you will have pizza ingredients all over your hands. If you call out you have to message other Co-workers to try and cover your shift. If someone calls out while you're working and no one wants to cover you'll just be short staffed. Rushes are hard. Especially if you don't have a good team or the right people. It just feels like the orders never stop coming and you don't get a break.

Pros

Flexibility in scheduling as long as you are firm about your availability. Co-workers are usually decent. There are decent growth opportunities but climbing the ladder comes with the risk of getting fired if you can't meet their standards.

Cons

Standard corporate company that plays games with people's livelihoods. I've seen this franchise chew up and spit out so many managers - do yourself a favor and don't try and move up. The demands they place on managers are high and if you don't live up, they fire you. And before they do they will "randomly" drug test you in the hopes of avoiding paying unemployment. They offer a safe driver bonus program but not all drivers are aware of it and there is no transparency on how close you are to your next milestone. Every new manager wants to rearrange the store and change how things are done. Turnover is high and wages are lousy. Drivers should track their tips because there are frequent discrepancies and you can lose out on tips you are entitled to. No stipend for car maintenance and mileage reimbursement is way below standard set by IRS.
