      Pros

      Great Benefits Great Name Good Talent Portfolio is diverse Deloitte brand is strong and that carries them most of the time.

      Cons

      Compensation is not competitive across the board Expectations aren't rational Work/life balance is difficult when you're expected to contribute to the Firm. A lot of managers with no technical expertise leading technical projects If you use vacation, you essentially have to make it up since it counts against your utilization. Actually, things like federal holidays and days the client is not open counts against you as well.

      Make this SIngapore firm the last choice out of the four

      Pros

      Culture is generally good, with many entry level employees willing to learn and share knowledge together. Work hours are generally shorter at the first year at Deloitte - becomes unbearable from second year onwards.

      Cons

      Workload gets too heavy at senior level (start of third year). Compared to peers like PwC Singapore, Audit Seniors in DT are working too hard and for too little. Bonuses, basic salaries, HR policies are markedly poorer than the other big four competitor firms by a mile. Firm extremely efficient when it comes to cutting corners off employee benefits while expecting same quality staff as other big four. Audit clients are generally smaller in size, with much backlog to clear. Human resource is not efficient, with no promotion letter issued stating salary despite being assigned work at higher level.
