      Sinking ship, Generous PTO and a Sabbatical doesn't pay the bills

      Pros

      Enjoyed my time here but was time to move on, just wanted to hop on here and get the word out. Pros include good people, solid culture/general enthusiasm and environment.

      Cons

      Some of the software is far behind, number of departments are understaffed, general management spends more time on micromanaging than finding ways to grow and be more efficient. Difficult to retain vendors when we're not as productive.

      Nothing Special, Don't Regret Leaving

      Pros

      Really enjoyed my time with DLL until much of their way of doing business changed around 2021/22. One the CEO at that time left, the top management has seen noticeable instability that's trickled down to most departments.

      Cons

      Made the decision to enter a new chapter in 2024 and don't regret it. Most great coworkers I got to know over the years have left recently as well. Tech at the new place is probably two decades ahead of DLL's.
