Pros

Global, burgeoning industries in power both renewable and ICE.

Cons

Way too much time, energy and resources applied in focusing on woke idealogies and making ESG scores. Meritocracy sacrificed for Technocracy. Heavy emphasis towards separation / class structure between hourly and salary personnel. Union vs. non-union staffing in many facilities furthers this mindset. You are either one of two types-shop or managerial; determined by whether you possess a 4 year degree or not. Extremely non-progressive for such an otherwise HEAVY "progressive" culture. Engineering is a round peg that gets forced into a square hole when it comes to the class structure separation of shop vs. salary.
