      Pay increase after a year, but grueling hours

      Pros

      Getting a higher pay a year into it but just to match another site.

      Cons

      10 hour days and then mandatory OT. Can even go up to 13 hours. They tell you occasional OT at the interview only to then be blindsided with "peak season" which lasts from Dec to May and they expect you to basically be chained to your desk entirely. Like 10-12 hr days up to 6 DAYS IN A ROW. So good luck seeing anyone or doing anything. You'll be too tired anyway.

      Favouritism Higher management is so poor that no SOP is maintained. No job security If you raise any concern or issue regarding process you will be targeted

      Pros

      I can listen to music while I work. I can usually get the time off that I request.

      Cons

      High amounts of MOT. No real sense of life balance. The base pay is too low and is solely dependent on how many claims you process per hour and quality. It's truly solo work for the most part. If you're a team person and like to actually know them, this job isn't for you.
