Pros

Great benefits. Great growth opportunities. Great ability to relocate. Many different divisions to find one's niche.

Cons

No system in place for upper managerial accountability. The Mid-Atlantic district is being lead by delegation alone. Middle management accountability is stretched. Long work week , 60 + hours just to keep up.

Pros

Continuing education opportunities offered, PTO, job security, opportunities to transfer within the company

Cons

1)My account has been understaffed for years and I don't see that changing. I think there is some financial incentive for my director to stay under budget behind this. 2) Often, I leave work feeling I haven't done a very good job because I cannot devote adequate time per patient to truly meet their needs to the best of my ability. 3) Employee satisfaction surveys are not designed to capture meaningful feedback from RDs in Morrison hospital accounts, in my opinion. 4) Performance reviews (the results of which determine % salary increase) are largely based on factors clinical RDs do not have input/influence over (purchasing, budget, managerial duties), so that seems unfair...one is not necessarily rewarded for doing a good job as a clinical dietitian 5) Very minimal pay increases

A difficult company to work for.

Pros

They offer full benefits and opportunities to advance in your career.

Cons

Their tardy/absence policy is on a 12-month rolling calendar and conflicts with standard health codes. You are liable to be written up for terminating your shift early (as an hourly associate) due to illness even though you can not work in a commercial kitchen, let a lone a hospital, if you are exhibiting signs of vomiting and/or diarrhea. You have to FIGHT to get help with the advancement of your career. It will constantly be put off, even though they are required to work with you actively beginning when you start and even more so at your annual review. Nothing has been done even though I have asked multiple times how to advance. My director admitted to 'not knowing exactly how I go through the advancement process, or what qualifications I need to meet'.
